ABOUT
US

The company was started by a long-time sufferer of depression and anxiety, he had always been on the look out for things that would benefit his body and mind. As he got older he knew he needed to be present for his young family and discover something that could give him the continued support to remain balanced. He started going to the gym and joined a martial arts academy, but it was only after taking a regular dose of CBD oil that he started to notice changes to both his internal and external health. Although staying physically healthy was always important to the creator of Hail Mary, the added boost of clarity he gained from CBD was a turning point in his journey and something so easily added into his routine.

We began researching and trialling many CBD products and decided to create our own brand that people could trust.

This is the result. A CBD brand you can trust. A gift from the earth. Feel clearer, awakened and recovered.

WHAT IS CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of many chemical compounds, known as cannabinoids, found in the cannabis plant. CBD is obtained from hemp, the least processed form of the plant. Hemp is rich in CBD and low in THC so it’s legal, practical and offers a wealth of benefits to body and mind.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

CBD is a naturally occurring substance and is usually mixed with a carrier oil to create CBD oil. Unlike THC, another popular cannabinoid, CBD is non-psychoactive so you won’t get high from our products. When we take CBD, it stimulates our Endogenous Cannabinoid System, which is involved in keeping us healthy and restoring balance to our immune system. Keeping our system balanced is vital to our well-being, making CBD a natural choice in caring for ourselves. Our CBD is sold on a food supplement basis only and we can’t advice you medically. However, Hail Mary products are 100% safe, natural and non-toxic.

IS CBD LEGAL?

It’s 100% legal in the U.K. The EU has approved 63 industrial hemp strains, so CBD is not a controlled substance and has no restrictions on its use.

WHAT IS FULL SPECTRUM?

Unlike CBD isolate products, which as the name suggests, only contains CBD, CBD full spectrum is made up of hundreds of cannabinoids available from the cannabis plant which include CBN, CBG and THCV but to name a few. When all these are present, a process which has been dubbed “the entourage effect” takes place.

WHAT IS THE ENTOURAGE EFFECT?

The entourage effect is basically the idea that all of the beneficial chemical compounds present in the cannabis plant work better and in synergy if you keep them together the way they naturally occur in the plant, rather than trying to extract just the ones you want.

CAN YOU VAPE CBD OIL?

Yes! Vaping is a popular and easy way to take CBD. Along with tinctures, it’s one of the most effective ways to introduce CBD into your body.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO USE CBD?

Although CBD oil is most often available as a tincture, there is a host of different ways to use it. Vape it, eat it, add it to water and smoothies, or rub it into your sore muscles and joints. You’ll find it in oils, capsules, topical creams, balms and many more.

WHAT IS BIO-AVAILABILITY?

Bio-Availability refers to the amount of CBD entering your blood stream when it’s introduced to your body. This all depends on how you chose to take it. Vaping or placing drops under your tongue will mean a higher bio-availability, as the CBD can be absorbed directly into your bloodstream. Eating CBD causes some of the CBD to be filtered out as it passes through your metabolic and digestive systems. This reduces its bioavailability.

WHAT ARE TERPENES?

Terpenes can be found throughout nature and they are what give plants their rich aromas and vivid colour. They are responsible for distinctive flavours like citrus, berry, mint, and pine.
Over 100 different terpenes have been identified in the cannabis plant, and every strain tends toward a unique terpene type and composition.
Apart from scent and flavour, terpenes play an important part in the “entourage effect “ you often hear about in the cannabis industry when referring to “full/broad spectrum”. Each terpene has it’s own healing properties.
